The Vantage Pro2 can send data directly to a computer, mobile device, or EnviroMonitor® gateway up to 1,000 feet (300m) away. The station communicates with the WeatherLink® network via internet using either cabled or wireless means (model must be selected at purchase).
The base configuration of the Vantage Pro2 measures air temperature, relative humidity, dew point, wind chill, heat index, barometric pressure, rainfall, wind speed, and wind direction, with real-time data updates every 2.5 seconds. With additional sensors, the Vantage Pro2 can also measure UV index, solar radiation, evapotranspiration, leaf wetness, THSW index, and soil moisture and temperature.

EnviroMonitor Nodes can be attached to a Vantage Pro 2 station to enable the configuration of additional sensors, like soil moisture and temperature probes.
