Know what's happening where your team is working
Vantage Pro2 puts accurate, real-time observations exactly where it matters, so you know what conditions the people on your site are actually facing.
For outdoor safety decisions
From school athletic programs to construction sites to municipal operations, Vantage gives the people responsible for outdoor safety and daily decisions the ground-level data they need to act with confidence.
Built and tested in the USA
Every Vantage Pro2 station is designed, assembled, and tested in Hayward, California. Sensors meet recognized scientific accuracy standards, with a minimum of 10 quality checks before each unit ships.
Trusted around the world
Thousands of Vantage professional weather stations are operating globally, backed by over 30 years of precision weather instrumentation.
Professional-grade measurements, right out of the box
The Vantage Pro2 is a professional weather station built for continuous outdoor use with all sensors integrated into one solution. Sensors meet recognized scientific accuracy standards, are solar-powered, and deliver consistent data with minimal maintenance year after year.
Key measurements:
- Temperature, humidity, dew point, wind chill, and heat index
- Barometric pressure, rainfall, and rain rate
- Wind speed and wind direction
- Optional UV Index and solar radiation for WBGT and evapotranspiration

Flexible ways to get your data where it needs to go
The Vantage Pro2 professional weather station works with two AEM data collection options depending on your site requirements and connectivity needs.
WeatherLink Live: A straightforward choice for single-site deployments. Collects data from up to 8 wireless sensors within 1,000 feet using frequency-hopping spread-spectrum radio. Connects to the cloud via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Supports 80+ sensor types.
EnviroMonitor: The right fit when you need to cover more ground, add more sensor types, or require cellular connectivity.
- Solar powere Cellular Gateway or AC powered Wi-Fi/Ethernet options
- Add up to 32 Nodes with up to four sensors each; choose from 100+ Davis and third-party sensors
- Node-to-node range up to 10,000 feet (with 8 dBi antenna)
Both options push data to the cloud in real time and connect to AEM’s software applications for monitoring and alerting.
One place to monitor conditions, manage alerts, and keep everyone informed
Vantage Pro2 stations connect directly to AEM Elements 360 or Sferic Maps so the data your station collects feeds into the monitoring, alerting, and communication workflows your team depends on.
Live Conditions on a Map
View real-time readings from your station on an interactive map alongside radar, lightning data, and other environmental layers. See exactly what is happening at your location, not a regional average.
Alerts Based on Your Policies
Set weather thresholds that match your organization’s specific protocols — WBGT levels for heat safety programs, wind speeds for crane operations, rainfall totals for field conditions. When thresholds are crossed, your team gets notified automatically. No manual monitoring required.
Dashboards for Different Users
Configure views for different roles and weather risks. A safety director sees what they need. A field supervisor sees something different. Dashboards can be tailored so the right people get the right information without filtering through data that does not apply to them.
Sharing With Stakeholders
Push conditions and alerts to emergency responders, facility managers, or external stakeholders. Data sharing can be configured so the people who need to act have the information before they have to ask for it.
On-site weather data changes how teams operate and make safety decisions
Worker Safety
Outdoor workers face real risk from heat and wind. The Vantage Pro2 professional weather station measures the conditions needed to calculate WBGT, so safety managers can enforce protocols before conditions become dangerous. On construction sites, accurate local wind readings support crane lift decisions that regional weather data simply cannot.
Schools and Sports Venues
School districts and athletic programs use Vantage Pro2 to track heat stress conditions, rainfall, and wind during outdoor activities to protect students and maintain compliance with sports safety requirements.
Agriculture
Farmers monitor temperature, humidity, rainfall, and soil moisture, and more at the field level to make better irrigation, spray, and harvest decisions. The Vanatge Pro2 GroWeather configuration is purpose-built for in-field agricultural use.
Municipal and Community Operations
Local governments use Vantage Pro2 to fill gaps in regional weather coverage, supporting emergency management, public works, and community safety programs.
