Designed to work with gridded rainfall inputs such as GARR, it offers a comprehensive view of complex watershed processes, ensuring more accurate and detailed flood predictions.
The model provides precise, gridded runoff data from both groundwater and surface water, improving overall forecasting accuracy. Vflo also calculates multiple hydrologic water balance components for each grid cell, such as infiltration and saturation excess, subsurface runoff, evapotranspiration, and soil moisture, ensuring a thorough and reliable analysis of flood risks.
