The Flood Station is powered by Davis EnviroMonitor technology and monitors water level and road conditions in a designated area using a pressure transducer or Surface Sentinel. When road conditions or water levels reach a certain threshold, the station automatically activates flashing beacons and warning signs to alert motorists of danger on the road ahead. Once conditions improve, the lights turn off, signaling that the road is safe to travel.
